JOB DESCRIPTION: Production Manager
General Summary: The Production Manager is responsible for ensuring that production requirements are met, in a safe/clean work environment utilizing Quality per the company procedures; responsible for the overall direction, and evaluation of all production. The Production Manager plans directs, coordinates, prioritizes, schedules, and controls production in the assigned work areas to achieve established management goals.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintain On-Time-Delivery and ensures optimum productivity
- Oversees and ensures employee safety, work quality, timeliness, and cost containment
- Plan, prioritize, and schedule production
- Preventative maintenance and machine maintenance scheduling
- Ensure proper staffing levels
- Process adherence in accordance with work instructions, process instructions and control plans
- Able to communicate and flow down company objectives and goals
- Ensures employees perform to company safety guidelines
- Provide motivation and support
- Maintain control of material usage by working with sales staff on the scope of work
- Review customer contracts/PO for terms and conditions and completes additional forms and paperwork as required
- Closeout jobs, ensuring all costs have been applied to closed jobs
- Perform job site audits and quality control activities
- Assist Operators with jobs when necessary by providing on-the-job site instruction
- Train, evaluate, and motivate staff, including new hires and transfers into the department
- Implements and ensure Safety and Quality is incorporated in all aspects of the job
- Perform other duties as assigned

- Basic computer knowledge. Microsoft Office preferred required

Production Supervisor
JOB DESCRIPTION: Production Supervisor
General Summary: The Production Supervisor is primarily responsible for ensuring all production activities are carried out per company requirements and procedures. This role is also responsible for ensuring that quality objectives are met and policies are adhered to. Ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, and government regulations, as applicable. This position will report to the Production Manager.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage all production activities to ensure maximum throughput, minimal loss, and that job due dates are met on time.
- Oversee allocation of employees, material, and equipment resources to meet production schedules.
- Analyzes processes and operator performance to identify opportunities and enhance productivity.
- Manages manpower, including overtime and staffing needs, as needed.
- Addresses personnel needs including performance, quality, capacity, training, and technology issues.
- Monitors workflow and most importantly keeps the production team focused and on task.
- Advises the Production and HR staff as to employee recruiting, selection, orientation, and training needs.

- 2 years previous experience as a leader in manufacturing or 4 years of college required
- Experience/knowledge of circuit boards and circuit board manufacturing a plus

Production Operator
JOB DESCRIPTION: Production Operator
General Summary: The Production Operator, under general supervision, operates one or more Computer Numerically Controlled (CNC) machines simultaneously to drill, electrical test, route, and/or v-score low tolerance parts. Operates machines independently, performs simple to complex and standard machine set-ups, involving loading programs, aligning the pinning of panels, visually and mechanically inspecting the panels, arrays, and pieces, and making required adjustments.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Drill panels to customer specifications, following the written procedure
- Electrically test panels to customer specifications, following the written procedure.
- V-score panels to customer specifications, following the written procedure.
- Route panels into arrays/pieces following the written procedure.
- Perform mechanical inspections following the written procedure.
- Deburr and clean arrays/pieces following the written procedure.
- Perform visual inspections.
- Collect SPC data for quality, engineering, and customer needs.
- Maintain an organized and clean workspace using the 5S methodology.
- Monitor machine(s) and the quality of the product.
- Do general maintenance and preventative maintenance on the machine(s).
- Notify the Team Leader, Supervisor, or Management when there are problems with machine(s), quality issues, or other problems.
- Multitask between several machines and/or several given tasks.
- Follow written procedures of another department(s) when being trained.
- Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience in a circuit board manufacturing organization is a plus.
- 1 to 3 years of experience with a Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machine, including CNC drill, route or v-scoring machines, or electrical test flying probe test machine.
- Experience working with measuring tools, such as, but not limited to, calipers, micrometers, pin gages, radius gages, depth gauges, etc. preferred
